Through youth programs, community events, and outreach, we provide support and exposure to those who need it most.
Today, we are expanding that impact by building a community-based food system that will grow, prepare, and deliver fresh meals directly to youth—creating a sustainable solution to food insecurity.
Jalen Dalton’s vision for the foundation is rooted in lived experience. Growing up in an environment shaped by instability, including exposure to domestic violence, abuse, and the challenges of a broken home, he understands firsthand the realities many underserved youth face every day.
For many children, those experiences become barriers—limiting what they believe is possible for their future. But through opportunity, guidance, and support, Jalen was able to see a different path for himself. That path ultimately led him to become a professional athlete in the National Football League, an experience that expanded his perspective and reinforced the importance of access, structure, and belief.
The Jalen Dalton Foundation was created to provide that same sense of opportunity to youth facing similar circumstances. While exposure, mentorship, and programming remain core to the mission, the foundation is evolving to address one of the most immediate and fundamental needs—consistent access to food.
Jalen is currently leading the development of a community-based food system designed to grow, prepare, and distribute fresh, fully cooked meals to underserved youth. This work is grounded in a simple but critical belief: before a child can focus on their future, they must first know they are supported in the present.
What begins with a meal becomes something greater—stability, confidence, and the ability to dream beyond current circumstances. Through this work, the foundation aims to create not only immediate impact, but a scalable model that can serve communities for years to come.
Our model is built on a simple idea: consistent support creates real change.
We combine community engagement, direct service, and long-term infrastructure to address the needs of underserved youth.
Through the development of a farm-to-meal system, we are creating a sustainable way to produce, prepare, and deliver food directly to the communities we serve.
This approach allows us to move beyond short-term solutions and build a system that can scale, operate consistently, and provide lasting impact.
